About Me
Hi, I’m Kathryn
Based in Maidstone and covering Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex and the whole of the UK, I use an integrative approach to Mental Health Counselling and Trauma Therapy and my style is focused on empathy and respect. I will help you alleviate the pain, process your life experiences, manage your emotions so you can live a happier and peaceful life.
You’ve Survived So Much. Now It’s Time to Heal — For Real. There’s a point where surviving just isn’t enough anymore. You’ve done what you had to do to get through the pain — pushed it down, talked yourself out of it, minimised it, kept going when everything inside you was saying stop. That kind of strength is real. But so is the exhaustion that comes with it.
Maybe you don’t trust people easily. Maybe your body always feels like it’s bracing for something. Maybe you’ve been in therapy before and felt like no one really got it. Or they were too careful, too clinical, or just… too far away.
I work differently. I’m an integrative therapist who specialises in trauma. That means I won’t give you a one-size-fits-all approach. I won’t sit quietly while you unravel. And I won’t pretend healing is simple or quick. What I will do is show up — fully, honestly, and with deep respect for what you’ve been through.
In our work together, you can expect:
Real talk — no sugarcoating, no hiding behind therapeutic jargon.
A safe, grounded space where you don’t have to explain everything or protect me from your story.
A flexible, integrative approach that meets you where you are — emotionally, somatically, and psychologically.
Focus on your body, mind, and nervous system — because trauma doesn’t just live in thoughts. It lives in your whole being.
A relationship built on honesty, care, and boundaries — the kind that helps you feel seen, heard, and slowly, safely reconnected to yourself.
If you’re ready for therapy that meets you with truth, not tiptoeing — I’m here.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their ethical framework, and I have an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring certificate, previously called a DBS.
